World Series of Poker
The greatest, richest and most coveted gaming tournament in the world is called the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Poker players from all corners of the world compete for millions of dollars in cash and the prestigious elusive WSOP bracelet every year. This year’s series, held between May 28 and July 17, features 99 live tournament events at the casinos in Paris and Horseshoe in Las Vegas. Come 2024, there’ll be more players winging their way to all the old destinations around the continent to railroad and get around, with EPT Monte-Carlo once again the pivot point and online qualifiers for its Gold Pass event starting this week.

The ultimate poker tournaments are reserved only for the most daring players, boasting outrageously huge prize pools and non-stop entertainment at every turn. It was play and luck, too, that let Isaac Haxton sweep the $2.7 Million top honours of the latest $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl on PokerGO.
Poland’s Wiktor Malinowski earned second place for $7,525,000 while Jake Schindler took third.
European Poker Tour
In this regard, the European Poker Tour tournament series, with their wonderful locations and deep prize pools is now one of the game’s best-loved tournaments series. The 2024 season opens with EPT Paris, from 14-25 February. It will be held in a venue bigger than last year’s Le Palais des Congres venue, due to player feedback. EPT Barcelona has two guaranteed dates for capacity crowds playing at Casino Barcelona this year: 26 August-8 September and 9-20 October.
BSOP Millions For 12 Million
Real in guaranteed prize pools, Brazil’s biggest poker tournament series is back — BSOP Winter Millions takes place from July 23 to July 31. Tournaments are available of all varieties to cater for players with every bankroll. EPT Barcelona
This year, the European Poker Tour brings its renowned festival to Barcelona between 26 August and 8 September, along with the best beaches in Europe, the world’s best clubs and high-end card action. Entering the game floor of EPT Barcelona can sometimes feel like being thrust into a hive of bluffing and chip-shuffling noise, but, like a hive, this noise soon settles down.
WPT Amsterdam
The World Poker Tour is among the most famous live tournament series in the world, and this year’s Amsterdam leg should see a healthy turnout. There were 16,062 entries at last year’s tournament; the $5,000 buy-in resulted in a massive prize pool and meant that much of $3,329,777 was won by the previously obscure qualifier who claimed it, Razvan Belea.
Today marks the EUR560 buy-in opening flight at 12:30 p.m. with 30-minute levels.
EPT Barcelona Main Event
Barcelona has beautiful beaches, raucous nightlife and fantastic food – the perfect ingredients for a stop on the European Poker Tour. And in the Main Event, last year boasted a remarkable record of 2,2994 entries, accumulating an unprecedented cash prize pool of more than EUR11 Million. Ezequiel Waigel of Argentina satellited into the tournament and has already won his largest ever live cash; he’s down to seven players currently.
EPT Monte-Carlo Main Event
Poker is all set to be even bigger in the year 2024, as various high-stakes tournaments with hefty prize pools are scheduled well across the globe. You’re sure to be in for a treat this year! Meanwhile, Derk van Luijk took down the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event, adding another remarkable feat to an already remarkable poker career – making him one of only a handful of EPT Main Event winners.
